Therefore, it is possible that a parent registering online could secure a place in a class before a walk-in or mailed registration even though they may register later than parents who choose the aforementioned options. This is because the parent has chosen to expedite their child's registration by entering the data themselves. Those parents who hand-deliver or mail their registrations have chosen to have the DSS enter the data for them; when that data is processed depends upon how many must be processed by the program secretary.
There will be a computer terminal in the lobby of the Board of Education offices set aside for parents to register online for DSS offerings.
