Drop Off & Pick Up from School

• Don’t leave your children unsupervised before their scheduled class.
• Please pick them up on time.
• We are not responsible for supervising children before and after posted summer school hours.
• For the sake of safety, children whose parents are late will be kept in the Nurse’s office until their parents arrive for them.Late parents should proceed to the Nurse’s office.
• Parents who are habitually late will be charged for additional supervision of their children.
• Do let us know when you child is absent so we may alert your child’s teacher. Call 655-3981, Extension 2496.

For reasons of safety, the bus dropoff areas at DHS will be limited to immediate drop-off/pickup by parents. No curbside parking or waiting in cars for your child to arrive. This allows us to keep traffic moving and speed up everyone’s departure. Park your vehicle in the front parking lots adjacent to the schools. Whenever possible, please escort your young child to his/her class. Drive slowly! Safety first!
