Ivy Bound SAT Critical Reading & Math

Critical Reading is the section most respected by college admission committees. Our work will be evenly split between Sentence Completions, Vocabulary Building and Reading Comprehension. Our class includes two Critical Reading practice tests. For many students, Math is the "gnarly" section of the SAT. Success here can pave the way for better college admissions and higher scholarship awards. The course teaches TO THE SAT. We are not wasting time on "proofs" and extras that will not appear on the test. The course presumes a semester each of Algebra I and Geometry.

All students will receive instruction from Ivy Bound/College Tutors, including materials they will use in the fall. Ivy Bound allows all participants to convene for full SAT (Practice Test) testing sessions in the fall: four sessions on Sunday afternoons lead up to the October PSAT and November SAT.  Any questions?
