Musical Theater Workshop
Through a series of mini-workshops, your child will gain experience in the following aspects of musical theater: (1) dance and movement; (2) music/voice technique; (3) acting/character development; and (4) costume design and creation (Your son/daughter will make/create/find/buy some or all of his/her costumes). The class fee includes two tickets to the performance of one's choice. Students will be asked to help sell tickets to the performances (admission is $10 per ticket) as well as place posters to advertise the show around town. Enrollment will be limited and based on a first come/first served basis in the following grade range: Any additions or subtractions to these enrollment criteria are strictly up to the MTW/DSS staff. NOTE: Some students may be asked to stay an extra hour as the performance dates draw close. Parents will be notified in advance of these requests. Parents may also be required to purchase some or all of their child's costume. **It is important that students be present for the first week of the program as auditions for parts will take place during the first week. There will be no class on Friday, July 31, due to the Saturday matinee performance on August 1. 
Entering grade 5-10

Two performances will be held: Friday, July 31st at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the Darien High School Auditorium.
