To enhance and further develop the advanced Art Student's abilities and technical skills in various chosen mediums. This course is in preparation for senior art course, and the (AP) Advanced Placement course.

Curriculum
1. Watercolor Painting - washes and dry brush
2. Oil Painting - Minimalist skyscapes
3. Oil Pastel - Fauvist portrait or landscape
4. Sumi - E Painting - Japanese Ink and Brush Painting
5. Printmaking - Linoleum Block (optional)
6. Ceramic Wheel Techniques, Ceramic Sculpture

Students also have the option of choosing their own medium and subject matter to apply to one of the above offerings

This class meets for 2 hours Monday thru Thursday, from 6pm to 8pm in Room F105.

Often, a half-hour break for critiques sessions (whole class), and individual critiques as students develop their art.

A materials fee is included in the price of the class.
