Weaving

Students entering grades 5-8

In this fun, creative class you will learn the basics of weaving, while creating a carrying case for your cell phone or tablet. You may also create a cute, small bag or pouch to hold whatever you choose. There will be many colors of yarn and embellishments to work with, and depending on your ability and comfort level, many different weaving patterns to employ as well. Cord making will be taught so your bag can have a strap the length of your choosing. By the end of our week together, you will have a great bag/case, as well as the knowledge and ability to continue creating similar things on your own.
