Portrait Painting

For students entering grades 9-12

Do you have an interest in creating realistic portraits? In this dynamic two week course you will tackle the issues that artists face as they work through the process of creating a portrait. You will look at the work of contemporary portrait painters, see informative demonstrations, create through interactive activities, and receive one on one feedback on a portrait of your choice. You will have the opportunity to experiment in color as well as in black and white and to use various drawing and painting materials.
