Entering grades 6-8
Get a jump on your summer reading while participating in a fun and interactive book club group in this summer reading workshop class. Current research suggests that students who read for pleasure perform best in school and on standardized tests. In this five-week course, students will read two current young adult novels and will gain practice with reading strategies that will improve comprehension and thinking skills.
$10 materials fee included.
