How To Register
Darien Summer School provides you with two ways to register your child: online and hand-written. No reservations are accepted, so please register as early as possible for the best chance at placement in your desired classes! Please register your child for classes based on the grade they are entering in the fall.
1. Online at DarienSummerSchool.com
Online registration is the preferred method. It is fast and easy!
2. Hand-Written Registrations
Registrations completed by hand should be completed in a legible manner. Incomplete and illegible registrations may delay enrollment in a choice offering. Online registration is highly recommended to avoid unnecessary delays.

All walk-in and mailed registrations will be processed as quickly as possible, in the order they arrive at the secretary’s desk. The program secretary must first create and complete a profile for each of these registrations, select the courses listed for each child, and process a credit card, if necessary. This will take time, depending on the number of walk-in and mailed registrations that must be processed.
Therefore, it is possible that a parent registering online could secure a place in a class before a walk-in or mailed registration even though they may register later than parents who choose the aforementioned options. This is because the parent has chosen to expedite their child’s registration by entering the data themselves. Those parents who hand-deliver or mail their registrations have chosen to have the DSS enter the data for them; when that data is processed depends on how many must be processed by the program secretary.
Due to poor legibility, no faxed registrations will be accepted.
Full tuition must accompany registration – no partial payments can be accepted. Please include a check or credit card number (MasterCard or Visa). Do not mail cash!
A $35 fee will be assessed for any checks returned by your bank.
Please note: DSS does NOT prorate any classes, camps or programs.
