Ages 7-11

Kids Corner helps students create with wood! Our kids will start by doing Popsicle-stick houses, then graduate to "kits" for making birdhouses, boats, helicopters, and little catapults. They can then paint their new creations, and adorn them with clay or plastic people, animals, or objects.

Students will work individually, in pairs, and in groups. They will learn to safely use nails, hammers, saws, and screwdrivers. Electric saws and electric drills are used only with hands-on adult supervision.
