Ages 8-12

Rockets are used by teachers and youth group leaders to ignite imaginations. Rocketry combines fun with learning about math, science, propulsion, and aeronautics and rocket history! Many scouts earn merit badges in rocketry, and many NASA engineers began as young model rocketeers. Kids Corner students assemble rockets in small groups, fit the engines to the machines, and bring them outdoors for launches. Along the way, students learn about other aero-flight propulsion: helicopters, planes, drones, blimps, and satellites. Each student take home their Rocket and launcher at the end of the class.
