Let your creative writing grow this summer! Our goal is gaining self-confidence in writing in a friendly atmosphere of writing and sharing. Every genre of writing has room for creativity to make it more interesting. From science or social studies reports to expository, persuasive, and college admission essays from fiction to fantasy, and science fiction, writing is brought to life with creativity. In our classes we will work first on voice, your own individual writing style, giving each person a sense of self-confidence. Then we will focus on figurative and sensory language to enrich our pieces with new vocabulary as well. When we are ready to publish, we will share our works in progress in a friendly atmosphere of constructive criticism and compliments. Students learn as much from listening to their peers sharing as well as their own sharing along with the feedback from the teacher. Students will learn how to edit and revise their stories, reports and essays. For beginners, intermediates, or advanced students, we will be working in Google Classroom a great deal as well as writing in our journals.

Tuition includes a $10 materials fee.
